Ella Douglas (Kliebert)

Ella Douglas (Kliebert) is a 2009 graduate of Loyola College of Law. Prior to earning her law degree, she was a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse and worked as a Registered Nurse with Ochsner Health System. Her service also included working as a paramedic for Acadian Ambulance and Airmed Services, an adjunct professor for Loyola College of Nursing’s Master’s Program, as well as working with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.

In recognition of her efforts, Ella was selected as one of Louisiana’s Great 100 Nurses, selected by the Louisiana Hospital Association as a leadership fellow, and inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, which invites members who demonstrate excellence and exhibit exceptional achievement.

Upon completing law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable F. Hugh Larose in the 17th Judicial District Court. She has a background in healthcare where she held leadership and executive positions. She has a diverse background in administration, academia, administrative law, regulatory compliance, criminal and professional license defense, family law, and personal injury.

Ella has always had a passion for helping and ensures that her client’s needs are heard and met. In 2018, Ella was awarded Blackstone’s Order Award and the Camille Gravel Scholarship Award by the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (LACDL). She currently serves as a Board member for LACDL.
